Fabric Blends are More Durable
We have polyester in the blend to make it more durable and easy to care. However, we want to do things gently. Please do not wash with hot water because it would cause polyester shrinkage, affecting the rug's overall shape. Furthermore, when it comes to detergent, both cotton and polyester are resistant to the deterioration effects of alkalis.
Occasionally, rotate the kilim 180 degrees. Rotation frequency depends on exposure time to the sun and how much traffic the rug receives.
Vacuum the rug with a low suction, and avoid vacuuming the rug's fringes.
