The Mia has established a control process to check the products through all handling steps starting from manufacturing to delivering them to you.

The Mia products are inspected in at least three steps. Those steps can be summarized as, first while importing, second, receiving products into our DXB (Dubai) warehouse, and third, finally, while they are on their way to you.

In case you are away, we will try up to two delivery attempts for each shipment.

Have a question about the product?

We recommend gentle, environmentally-friendly detergents for dishwasher use. Always avoid abrasive or acidic detergents, which can cause wear on our glazes. We also caution against using rinse aids or finishing aids with your ceramics.
When loading your dishwasher, rinse first and ensure that you are not overloading or allowing plates to touch. Also, wash on a gentle, shorter cycle less intense pressure, and lower heat.

As a best practice, our ceramics are suitable for serving, not cooking. Still, we know a little adaptability in the kitchen is essential. In an oven or microwave, avoid shocking your ceramics with high-temperature changes. For example, avoid placing a ceramic piece directly into a hot or pre-heated oven (350°F or 177 °C), or it may crack from temperature shock. Likewise, we caution against extended microwave sessions, which may cause the ceramics to heat beyond a safe temperature for handling.
Boiling water will cause the beautiful paintings on your plates and bowls to fade. You may not notice it immediately, but the difference will be noticeable over time.

The Mia ceramic dinnerware, including teapots, is not for stovetop use or use with an open flame.

The best way to keep your ceramic dishes in pristine condition is to place them on top of each other in a pile. If you have more than two different types of ceramic dinnerware, you should have a pile of each kind. When you want to use your bowl or plate, don’t just pull out the piece that you want to use. Instead, lifting any plates or bowls above that piece you are taking would be best, then remove the dish you want to use from the pile. Simply dragging the dish you want out of your stack will give you some scratches, and we don’t want that!
